Synopsis
EPOPÉE is a musical film featuring residents of the Joliette neighborhood in Marseille.
It is a portrait of this rapidly changing neighborhood behind the port. Between the exploding highway, the frantic cranes, the gaping wound that opens up from Camille Pelletan Street, the strange atmosphere of Forbin, d'Hozier, and Fauchier Streets that slide toward the port, streets like a movie set still searching for its story; there are songs, a cappella or with music, songs of sailors, of gestures, and of trades. Marseille, the singing city of yesteryear, renews its repertoire here...
